“This author has an amazing way of telling a story.” – Ghostwriter Reviews
“I hope to be the first person she asks to read and review her next book.” -Nooner Reviews
BC was born with six fingers on each hand endowing her with super powers, thus enabling her to fight crime. When a freak kitchen accident severed the additional digits and powers, she fell back on her secondary power – writing. Due to traumatic memories, she avoids cooking whenever possible.
“[BC Brown] is a refreshing change of pace.” –Stephanie Johnson, author of EVENINGSHADE
“BC Brown is a great storyteller. I’m always happy to read her work and lucky enough to call her my friend!” – J. Travis Grundon, author of MR. BAD EXAMPLE
A Midwesterner most of her life, she chose to fly Southwest and now enjoys the sun and tequila of Arizona. When not writing (which is probably more often than she’ll admit) she enjoys bicycling, community theater, way too much karaoke, and all things Star Trek and Doctor Who. Professionally, BC has held jobs in everything from donut-making to 911 and helicopter dispatch. She prides herself on her wealth of interesting but useless trivia.
“BC Brown sets a delightful tone in whatever world she creates, be it desert fantasy or crime-riddled city. Her intelligent characters will leave you hanging on every word and just when you think you have things figured out, you discover otherwise. I’m thrilled to call this author ‘friend’ and karaoke-partner-in-crime!” –Molly Daniels, author of BALANCING ACT
As a writer, she derives inspiration from all she sees and reads. Her primary influences are Pearl S. Buck, George R.R. Martin, Jacqueline Carey, Stephen King, and Kelley Armstrong. She wrote her first novella entitled BITE ME at age eight. She has vowed it will never see the light of day.
“The way the author has weaves this amazing tale of fantasy is a feat not known by many.” –Darcy J. Busch, author of THE ADVENTURES BY LILY
“BC is amazingly imaginative.” –Wendy Strain, freelance author
BC’s addiction to gummy bears and gummy products has become legendary. As has her laziness and resultant mismatched sock collection. She is an animal lover and in a pack with two pushy dogs. She doesn’t discriminate against felines however and also wants to be owned by rats someday. Her foul mouth and lack of filter has gotten her into hot water in the past. She will no longer discuss the “big booty ho” incident of 2012.
“This author defies convention by shocking the reader.” P.M. Russell, author of THE WORMHOLE ADVENTURES: TRAVEL IS RELATIVE
“BC has a unique ability to communicate.” –Scott Jones, corporate investor
BC’s upcoming work includes the third installment in the Abigail St. Michael novels, A TOUCH OF EMPTINESS. Fans will be interested to hear of a spin-off book to the St. Michael series entitled A SIGHT UNKNOWN, A Jillian DeWitt novel. It is due out soon.
“The author is extremely descriptive and you can envision the characters and scenery in every chapter.” –M. Nelms, reader
“Brown navigates skillfully.” –Anonymous reader
She is also anticipating a general fiction novel KARAOKE JANE soon. She will be re-releasing her (currently out of print) dark fantasy novel under her own name and the series title OF SHADOWS.
“BC Brown has woven a wonderful tale…” –C. Niehaus, reader
“She was well worth it!” C. Fischer, reader
